Jamie Rodwell NVQ Level 3 in Plastering
We’d like to extend our congratulations to Jamie for achieving a well earned NVQ level 3 in Plastering from his training at Locker & Riley.
Jamie had been having some difficulty in finding full time work after completing a painting and decorating course at Barking College. Working on another casual job, he got talking to someone who had come in to fix some cornice and became fascinated by the fibrous plaster trade and it’s history.
With renewed interest, Jamie decided to go back to studying and was told about Locker & Riley by his teacher. At Locker & Riley, Jamie has learned a wide range of professional fibrous plastering skills and techniques - such as laying down an enriched cornice for a live project.
“I am very grateful that (Locker & Riley) gave me this opportunity, as a young plasterer who has been able to learn from the brilliant mentors in the workshop, helping me develop my skills. I hope in the future to have a successful career in Fibrous Plastering. It is a great place to work and to become part of a team”.
