Role Overview:
- To join the current design team in producing 2D CAD drawings for our clients.
- Help control the current drawing database, including procurement of information and drawing distribution online.
- Print full-size drawings ready for delivery to our sites.
- To learn architectural plastering designs and processes.
- To attend “in-house” and construction project design meetings.
- To visit construction sites (London mainly) and assist in taking site dimensions when required.
- Report to line manager and communicate with various managers and directors within the business.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 1 Years CAD (AutoCAD) experience minimum.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong team player.
- Good understanding of design principles.
- Able to read and evaluate architect’s drawings.
- Technical, analytical and resourceful.
- Basic – intermediate experience using MS Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Enthusiastic approach to working as part of a team.
- An eye for detail.

- Friendly/approachable and polite.
- A “can do” attitude.
- Confident communicator.
- Able to work under pressure and work to strict deadlines.
Personal:
- 40 Hours per week 08.00 – 17.00, Mon – Fri.
- Starting salary negotiable depending on experience.
- Initial six-month trial period with mid-term review, then yearly reviews thereafter.
- Able to reliably commute to Locker & Riley on a daily basis
