The Hippodrome Casino’s Grand opening
After a painstaking £40 million renovation and reconstruction project, the iconic London Hippodrome reopened to the public as Britain’s largest and most opulent Casino in July 2012.
The Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, performed the opening ceremony by unveiling a plaque to mark the auspicious occasion.
This huge project has not only restored and retained the glorious fabric of this building but also created hundreds of new jobs for the capital and provided a major boost for local business.
